Starbucks Shift Supervisor - Burton-on-Trent Drive Thru

You'll play a big role in the store's operations, staffing, customer satisfaction, product quality and be involved in financial performance and team development with the Store Manager. This position contributes to Starbucks success by assisting the store manager in executing store operations. Our supervisors deploy partners (team) and delegates tasks so that partners can create and maintain the Starbucks Experience for our customers. They model and act in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

· Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of 1 Oak & Starbucks.

· Maintain calm during busy periods and keep the store operating to standard and set a positive example for the team to follow.

· Anticipate customer and store needs to create the Third Place for our customers.

· Create a positive learning environment by providing clear, specific, timely and respectful coaching and feedback to partners on shift to ensure operational excellence and to improve partner performance.

· Deliver legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and responding to customer needs.

· Develop positive relationships with shift team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs and concerns.

· Follow Starbucks operational policies and procedures on every and each shift to ensure quality beverages and products consistently for all customers.

· Utilise operational tools to achieve operational excellence during the shift.

Qualifications and Skills

You will need a minimum of 2 years supervisory/management experience, in a similar branded catering or hospitality environment and experience of delivering great customer service and managing a team to deliver high standards in a busy environment. Any previous experience of working at Starbucks or other branded drive thru coffee chains would be beneficial.

Where is the vacancy for?

The position is for the Starbucks drive thru in Burton-on-Trent, with 1 Oak Limited, an authorised franchise partner for Starbucks Coffee.

Shift Supervisor positions are full time (34-40 hours/week). Shifts will be between 6.00am and 10.30pm, including shorter hours on weekends and you will need to ensure that you can get to and from the store at these times.
