Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to work with our development teams to design, develop, and execute automated tests for our software applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about both development and testing, with a strong ability to create test frameworks, write automated tests, and ensure the quality of our products through every stage of development.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Create and execute comprehensive test plans for both manual and automated testing of features, functionalities, and systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and functionality.
• Perform root cause analysis of issues, track defects, and work with developers to resolve them.
• Ensure that software releases meet quality standards and release requirements.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability of automated test scripts.
• Work with the CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests into the development workflow.
• Continuously improve test coverage, test automation, and software testing processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as an SDET or in a similar software testing/development role.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Appium).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with performance testing and tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
• Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Familiarity with database management and testing (SQL, NoSQL).
