Assist with patient check-in process, ensuring all necessary information and paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Greet and welcome patients and their families, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere.


Perform initial patient assessments, including taking vitals and recording medical history.
Utilize electronic medical record systems to accurately document patient information.
Prepare examination rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and proper stocking of supplies.

Assist healthcare providers with procedures and treatments as needed.

Job Qualifications
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For A Urgent Care Technician At Uchealth Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Shows A Basic Level Of Education And Ability To Follow Instructions And Procedures.

Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Or Medical Assistant (Ma) Certification: A Cna Or Ma Certification Is Preferred For A Urgent Care Technician Position At Uchealth. This Certification Demonstrates The Necessary Knowledge And Skills In Basic Patient Care And Medical Procedures.

Prior Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Previous Work Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Such As A Hospital, Urgent Care, Or Clinic, Is Preferred For A Urgent Care Technician At Uchealth. This Experience Shows Familiarity With Medical Terminology, Equipment, And Procedures.

Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: A Current Bls Certification Is Required For A Urgent Care Technician At Uchealth. This Certification Ensures That The Technician Is Trained In Life-Saving Techniques And Can Respond To Emergency Situations.

Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For A Urgent Care Technician At Uchealth.
