A senior project manager inspires cross functional team(s), leads through change by sharing the organization's vision and aligns the team's work to ensure achievement of the strategic growth objectives with an emphasis on results. This position will support our newly created North Atlantic region. This role can expect roughly 30% travel within the region to project sites.

As a senior project manager , you will...

  • Create and manages team assignments, keeping in mind individual development and strengths, team dynamics, balanced schedule, and business needs.
  • Conduct site visits to evaluate team performance.
  • Leverage the synergy of teams working cooperatively and collaboratively to drive the organization's success, ensuring projects are staffed with the appropriate resources and skill sets to achieve regional objectives.
  • Delegate and ensures clarity of responsibilities, decision rights, accountabilities and outcomes.
  • Set annual strategy and construction departmental goals, monitors progress, and communicates monthly, proactively anticipating and managing department outcomes.
  • Implement construction policies and procedures throughout the department and ensures they are in compliance throughout the team
  • Supervise the recruiting, hiring, training, and development of construction project management and supports administrative partners throughout the function, identifying and developing talent to meet the current and future needs of the region.
  • Establish regional priorities to support the growth and management of new and existing stores -Directs field construction team to achieve completion of the project within budget, on schedule, and with quality workmanship
  • Lead team to work collaboratively with construction general contractors, facilities, real estate, and design to generate successful construction methodologies, systems, procedures that lead to optimal outcomes in time, cost and quality of work
  • Determine how financial objectives will be achieved through proactive management of the region's portfolio. Contribute to and manage the development of the annual operating plan and budget, and quarterly forecast updates.
  • Maintain relationships with jurisdictions and planning commissions to ensure seamless openings from new stores or remodels/renovations.
  • Use partner insights, customer feedback, and historical data/experience to guide Construction Standards at the support center, ensuring consistent, functional standards and methods.
  • Oversees the performance of financial and business analysis to develop, evaluate, and recommend projects and new stores in coordination with Real Estate, Operations, Facilities, and Finance.
  • Manages regional budgets for all capital and expense related to projects within the region.
