Sales Incentive Programs, Sr Analyst (REMOTE) ID - 1732

Job Summary

This role is responsible for channel incentive program design and modeling and will support strategy, planning, and entire process through collaboration with functional partners in a matrixed environment by identifying priorities and assisting with the development of execution plans. To maximize effectiveness in this role, the incumbent will have the ability to influence prioritization and alignment across functional teams as well as present insights, solutions and financial impact to leadership. A successful candidate for this role will be a forward thinker, motivator, proven leader and change agent with vast experience in the area of Sales Incentive Compensation. This candidate will be a driving force in fostering a truly consultative environment, with the ability to derive root cause, develop creative and concise options, and work these options through leadership within the organization to build achievable and sound solutions.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Incentive Program Design / Modeling• Own the compensation model development of future state incentive programs for internal and external sales channels, subsidiary and partner organizations. This includes base commission, bonus, SPIFFs, and other reward programs• Ensure plan design models are effective, scalable, dynamic and able to support rapid changes in the business and account for critical dependencies, complexity in scope, and multiple integration impacts• Work in collaboration with Sales Analytics to apply current/historical performance trends and predictive analytics insights to identify creative solutions that deliver strategic incentive programs supporting company objectives• Assist with the development of compensation competitive analysis to identify opportunities that can be leveraged in the market through strategic incentive program design• Own ensuring that incentive programs are operational, can be implemented and supported by existing systems and environments through partnership with Sales Comp Admin, Channel Development and Sales Leadership teams• Develop bonus program performance reporting to track membership and spend results vs projections to determine program success and inform on spend variances• Serve as an internal consultant to business leaders and executive leadership team on matters related to sales incentives including job/role review, motivators of program design, to include goal-setting, measurement identification and establishing commission/bonus rates and programs• Subject matter expert in building insightful communications and presentations which influence and drive sound business decisions and outcomes
  • Process Improvement• Have a bias towards action, an ownership mentality and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment• Establish critical partnerships with leadership and SMEs across all departments, including Sales Teams, Channel Development, Segment, Product, Finance, IT, HR, Compliance, and others to drive operational excellence• Participate and support the development of departmental objectives to drive business outcomes
  • Financials• Define and implement effective cost models for incentive programs and work collaboratively with finance and segment to ensure adherence to budget and organizational targets• Partner with the Financial Oversight team by providing external/internal commission expense projections for respective segments and channels• Participate in providing input to segment forecasting and actuarial pricing for respective segments and channels• Regularly monitor and analyze financial oversight reporting to evaluate the performance of incentive programs, identify trends, and develop insights to drive enhancements of compensation strategy

What You Must Have:

5+ years related work experience. Experience Details: Sales compensation plan design

Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience

Expert level MS Excel

Demonstrated experience in driving the design of Sales Incentive Plans that are creative, effective, and simple to understand

Demonstrated experience with sales compensation principles, systems, and business processes

Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience in delivery to wide range of audiences including leadership

Ability to think conceptually and strategically and creating tactical solutions to solve root needs

Ability to effectively delegate, value, and accept others input

Experience building successful collaborative business relationships

Demonstrated project management experience

Strongly demonstrated and proven financial acumen

What We Would Prefer You Have:

Master's degree in a related field Accounting or Finance

Demonstrated ability to understand and develop financial budgets and P&L expense management Experience in the health care industry Knowledge of heath care products and sales process

Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $80,800 - $95,000

Annualized Salary Range: $80,800 - $131,300

Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
