  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Provide psychotherapy and medication management for patients with mental health disorders.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing.
  • Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
  • Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) preferred.
  • Experience in ER or hospital settings is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in case management practices related to behavioral health.
  • Familiarity with sonography techniques is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on patient education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate care to diverse populations.
