Your Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Student-Engine Performance Analyst for John Deere Product Engineering Center located in Waterloo, Iowa, you will...

• Assist in developing engine model capabilities, methodologies, processes, and tools
• Provide support to engine development programs, conducting performance analysis simulations and optimization tasks
• Assist in developing model test protocols, calibration procedures, and analysis methodologies
• Assist in supporting model architecture and workflow processes deployed throughout engine engineering

This position is not available to students on immigration visas.
What Skills You Need

• Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in an Engineering discipline; advanced degrees encouraged to apply
• Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. accredited college/university
• Graduation date of May 2025 or later
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Availability to work 15 hours/week during academic calendar and 30 or more hours/week over summer
• Good communication and team skills
• Completed a combination of the following courses: thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, dynamics, heat transfer, experimentation, measurement
• Experience with standard engineering software, including Matlab
