  1. Develop and implement network security policies, procedures, and standards to safeguard Netflix's network and systems.
  2. Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  3. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
  4. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of network infrastructure.
  5. Configure and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security devices.
  6. Investigate and respond to security incidents, including conducting forensic analysis and providing recommendations for remediation.
  7. Stay updated on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to continuously improve network security.
  8. Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure the security of external connections.
  9. Train and educate employees on network security best practices and procedures.
  10. Participate in the development and testing of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  11. Communicate security-related issues and updates to relevant stakeholders.
  12. Maintain documentation of network security configurations, procedures, and incidents.
  13. Troubleshoot and resolve network security issues in a timely manner.
  14. Continuously monitor and evaluate network security systems and make recommendations for improvements.
