TotalMed is currently seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse-Step Down Unit for a travel assignment in the Baltimore area. This role provides an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, utilizing your expertise to deliver exceptional patient care.

Job Overview

The Registered Nurse-Step Down Unit plays a critical role in providing seamless transitions of care from intensive care units to step-down units. You will be responsible for assessing patients' conditions, developing individualized care plans, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes an estimated salary range of $83,000-$123,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

About the Job

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from complex surgeries, traumatic injuries, and chronic illnesses. Your skills and expertise will be utilized to develop and implement individualized care plans, manage medications, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must possess a current nursing license, a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Step-Down or ICU setting, and certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., CCRN). You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
