Are you a dedicated Adult Psychiatrist (MD/DO) seeking an opportunity to make a real difference from the comfort of your own home? Join our team at Iris Telehealth, where you can provide essential care to underserved communities with the flexibility of 100% remote work for a balanced work-life.

Iris Telehealth is seeking a Psychiatrist ideally licensed in Oregon to provide care to adult patients in a community mental health outpatient setting for 24 hours a week. This 100% remote role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team at one of Iris’s behavioral healthcare partners, expanding access to quality care. You'll work with experts in psychiatry, neurology, and psychology, supported by a robust administrative team, allowing you to focus on patient care.

About the Role:

  • Setting: Outpatient setting based in Oregon (100% remote)
  • Schedule: 24 hours per week, three 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday 8am-5:30pm PST.
  • Patient Population: Ages 18+ with moderate to high acuity and primarily SPMI with schizoaffective, bipolar, anxiety, and/or depression diagnoses.
  • Appointments: 60 minutes for initial visits, 20 minutes for follow-ups.
  • On-call rotation: 7-day rotation from Tuesday -Tuesday, approximately once every 2-3 months. On-call hours within the rotation are from 6 pm-10 pm PST Monday-Friday & all day Saturday & Sunday (Calls do not occur after 10 pm)
  • Remote & Supported: This is a 100% remote role based at an outpatient community mental health center in Oregon. You’ll have full support from onsite telehealth staff to handle rooming, vitals, labs, giving you more time to focus on what you do best—patient care!
  • No supervision duties!

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a 4-year ACGME Residency Program in Psychiatry.
  • Availability for 24 hours per week, with the ability to work during PST hours.
  • Experience and willingness to treat patients ages 18+
  • Telehealth experience, with knowledge of Credible as a plus.
  • Experience with CMHC diagnoses and a willingness to treat patients with varying levels of acuity, from low to high.
  • Reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active medical license in Oregon is strongly preferred
